This half-log cabin block quilt in white and green blue batik was pieced by Tanuja Patil. The log cabins were given a flower like feel, the borders continuing in the same manner, and to add more of a decorative element, I added wishbones in the sashing which runs throughout the quilt.
This beautifully pieced quilt was an entry to the India Quilt Festival 2019 by Vibha Bhandari, a perfect blend of batiks and solids. It was quilted with some petals, pebbles, wishbones and dot-to-dot with swirly fillers. I also added some paisley feathers in the background.

This Peacock Girl Quilt was put together as a group entry to the India Quilt Festival 2019 by three lovely ladies - Tanuja Patil, Reshmi Kakkad and Surekha Zanane Nagar. To match and enhance the theme,
I decided to quilt peacock feathers in the background,
and linear quilting to define dimensions on her face.
The peacock feather earrings and the necklace are fabric quilling, done by Tanuja Reshmi and Surekha.
Precisely pieced by Vibha Bhandari, this Peacock Quilt was an entry to the India Quilt Festival 2019. I quilted peacock feathers and curvy lines to enhance its plumage. The background is quilted with flower meanders to give it the effect of a peacock in the garden.
The black and white fabrics, in combination with some colours, have been pieced beautifully by Jagruti Navelkar. They were quilted with some echoed paisley as a design for the borders and in the centre blocks, with straight line quilting all over.

Pieced multicolour double dresden flowers are hand appliquéd by Nisha Mukundan. This quilt is quilted with an overall stippling design for the background and multiple flower designs inside dresdens.
This beautiful chevron quilt top is pieced by the wonderful lady and quilter, Asha Dharwadkar. I quilted coordinating lines in three different colours to maintain the flow of the chevron piecing.
This log cabin baby quilt was pieced by Tanuja Patil. I quilted it with in-the-ditch lines and big stippling for the animal quilt border.
This cute little baby quilt, where a variety of fabric prints are used, was pieced by Tanuja Patil. A quilted flower meander for
the border background and in-the-ditch lines for the centre panel was the style to go for this one. To enhance the designs on the various fabrics in the centre panel I have quilted them by following the pattern on the fabrics.
